It’s perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Madrid near the Santiago Bernabéu so that you don’t have to navigate public transport on game day.

It’s a 10-minute walk to the Bernabéu and a 20-minute metro or bus ride to Madrid’s city center.

Another option is this cute condo near the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid. Although it’s too small for groups, this apartment is a great option for solo sports travelers or up to two guests. It’s a short (7-minute) walk from the Santiago Bernabeu, plus the apartment itself is in a nice, bright, modern building. You’ll have the entire 1-bedroom 1-bathroom to yourself.

If you’re traveling for sports with a group, this is a great accommodation option near the Santiago Bernabéu. As I mentioned earlier, staying near the Santiago Bernabéu does leave you a bit stranded from the rest of Madrid. If you want to be within walking distance of the stadium it will be convenient, but you won’t be within walking distance of Madrid’s best restaurants and attractions. If you’d rather be closer to the city’s action, stay at one of these hotels – they’re in the heart of the city, but have good transport links to make it easy to get to the Santiago Bernabeu on game day.

The Barceló Torre de Madrid is located within a stone’s throw of the Plaza de España, which has a metro station that will take you directly to the Santiago Bernabéu.
